Davison is the Senior and Founding Partner of Kanokanga & Partners, a multi-award-winning law firm in Harare, Zimbabwe. Davison has been practicing law for over three decades. He was one of the youngest, if not the youngest lawyer to open a law firm in independent Zimbabwe.
Davison is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe Disciplinary Tribunal. He is a sought-after who during his career has represented many individuals and corporate bodies and, in the process, has contributed immensely to the jurisprudence of Zimbabwe.
Kanokanga & Partners established in 1991 under Davison’s leadership is a leading law firm in Zimbabwe capable of providing tailored legal solutions to its clients.
Davison has been involved in highly complex and multi-million-dollar arbitration and litigation matters on behalf of clients. He has an extensive professional network within Zimbabwe, SADC as well as internationally. Davison is a torchbearer. He was the first Zimbabwean to become a member of Advocates International as well as the first Zimbabwean to participate and represent his country in the prestigious International Lawyers for Africa (“ILFA”) program where he had a stint with what is now Hogan Lovells in the United Kingdom.
Davison is also an author, Juta & Co one of the leading publishers are in the final stages of publishing his book “Commercial Arbitration in Zimbabwe”. The motivation of the book stems from his practice as both legal counsel and arbitrator in arbitration matters.
